THE SHAY INN - 3 BEDROOM, 2 BATHS (Sleeps 8) BEDDING; BR #1 Queen, BR #2 Full, BR #3 Full a sleeper sofa in the den and a sleeper sofa in the living room.Located in the historic logging town (and now state Park) of Cass, WV, the Shay Inn is mere steps from the 78-mile Greenbrier River hiking and biking Trail, a short walk to the Cass Scenic Railroad & Depot and Cass Country Store (featuring The Last Run Restaurant), a 10-minute drive to the world-class Green Bank Observatory and a 15-minute drive to Snowshoe Mountain Ski Resort. Other nearby activities include horseback riding, kayaking, fishing and hunting. This home has no air conditioning - we do provide fans. Built in 1911, the Shay Inn was built using timber from the now defunct Cass Mill and is named in honor of the old dining car that the current owner's family ran during the early days of Cass’s transition from lumber town to Scenic Railroad and tourist destination.

AMENITIES: Free WiFi, Cable, DVD Player, Washer/Dryer, Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, formal dining and living areas, separate den, Patio, and a Covered Porch.

UPDATED HOUSE RULES:
~ Reservation holders must complete check-in requirements.
~ The reservation holder must submit a photo of their driver’s license, and a selfie holding their driver’s license for verification
~ A signed Rental Agreement must be returned within 24 hours of booking
~ No Pets - Pets found in non-pet properties are forbidden and will result in immediate eviction without refund and incur a $250.00 charge to the credit card on file
~ No Smoking
~ No large gatherings
~ Check in time is after 4:00 PM
~ Check out time is 10:00 AM
~ Mandatory quiet hours between 10 pm and 8 am
~ Minimum age of reservation holder is 25
~ No mailbox access will be granted, no exceptions are made.
~ For homes with a private hot tub, a cleaning fee of $100.00 is charged at the time of booking.
