You can drive or fly to get to Riviera Nayarit. The primary road coming to Nayarit is the Pacific Motorway. However, the roadway possibilities in this region are increasing with more roads to Riviera Nayarit likely in the future. For now, the easiest, most convenient and most popular way for travelers to come there is flying either to the Tepic International Airport or the Puerto Vallarta International Airport.
Of these two the closest to Riviera Nayarit is the Tepic International Airport. This is about ten minutes from Riviera Nayarit. Airlines that offer services to and from this airport include Aeromar Airlines and Volaris Airlines. It is a modern airport, providing all the amenities possible for its patrons including snack bars, drink counters, car vacation rentals agencies, banks, shop, and tourist information stations. Travelers will find plenty of taxis and charter buses available for use. The taxis are available for on-site booking while the charter buses must be reserved beforehand through a travel agency.
The much bigger Puerto Vallarta International Airport is also an excellent airport and incredibly popular. Airlines that service this airport include Aerocalafia, Air Canada, Air Transit, Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Canjet, Delta Airlines, Finnair, Frontier Airlines, InterJet, Magnicharters, Sun Country, SunWing, Southwest, TAR Mexico, Tui Thomson Airways, United Airlines, Volaris, Viva Aerobus, West Jet, and Aeromexico. You will find this airport about 40 minutes from the RN.

The RN includes around 200 miles of beach property along the coast of the state of Nuevo Vallarta.
