Great place for a long weekend away

We loved the location of this place! It was right near everything we needed. It was great for our teenagers! The place is super cute and we would definitely stay there again!

This is a very nice property (we stayed on the top floor) that I would recommend or even stay at again with my family but we did have some issues in which a couple were addressed while we were there.
There was an exposed nail in the bathroom baseboard that a family member of mine stepped on while reaching for something in the tub. It was reported and hopefully addressed before the next family occupied this place. The sink, as well as the bathtub, had slow drainage (the sink a lot more than the tub). The towels and wash clothes at the property were not washed properly and the sheets on one of the beds were stained. I submitted pictures to the management company. They did provide new towels and I just removed the top stained sheet from the bed. There is a washer and dryer on the property, which was great for us because we don't like going back with dirty clothes, but the dyer had towels in it all week. How do they expect someone to wash clothes when they never removed the towels? The dishwasher smelled horrible as if it's never been cleaned (we didn't use any of the dishes provided) we just bought paper plates and cups which wasn't an issue for us. And the ice maker in the refrigerator/freezer never worked. A maintenance person came out to look at another issue we reported and mentioned he would send someone else for the ice maker and no one ever showed up. Again no big deal we just bought ice. But the communication could be a lot better.

The location of the boardwalk and beach was absolutely perfect as it was just a block away and my children spent a lot of time on the front porch enjoying the breeze from the Ocean.

One thing I think is important to mention if they haven't updated the pictures of the house yet, one of the rooms has a bunk bed which wasn't mentioned or seen in any of the pictures online. I called before I left to ask about it and was told after my second call, what I saw online were the same beds in the house....well it wasn't. I think that important to know depending on the age of the people staying in the home, it can be a big inconvenience.

Whether you’re staying for a small or large group, you will love the location! We’ve stayed here twice already- once at Shore Thing as a family and the other at The Cottage when we also had The Porch and Shore Thing with large friend group.

You get beach vibes the moment you arrive with the decor, comfortable indoor and outdoor furniture, amenities, and just one block to the boardwalk/beach! Awesome view of the ocean on the porch of Shore Thing!!

Owners are attentive and very good with suggestions if you’re not familiar with the area. Thanks so much for making your home so fun!
