Stunning Oceanfront Hideaway with Private Pool, Deck, and Yard - Dogs Welcome

Loved our stay. Home is beautiful and the location is perfect. It’s quiet, close to everything, beachfront. Loved seeing the deer and bunnies every day in the backyard. Very clean, master bed was comfy (we only utilized the first/main level), great water shower pressure, perfect back deck with gate for our two dogs to hangout with us. If I had any complaints, minor, they’d be there was no coffee to be found (though four types of coffee makers), no salt/pepper or seasonings but we brought ours so that didn’t matter. I did look at their pots/pans and they looked a bit worn but it was irrelevant as we didn’t use them. Overall, extremely happy and would return here in a heart beat. To me the pictures online looked “dated” but I was pleasantly surprised in this property and I’m super picky! Loved it! If we come back it will be our go to rental. Didn’t need to contact mgmt for anything so I can’t speak to that.

Good location. The views and proximity to the beach was better than the pictures show. The owner was very accommodating (trouble with a tv was immediately addressed) and the VACASA rep Ayla was absolutely fantastic. She was VERY responsive and made sure we had a wonderful stay.

Thank you so much for sharing your Paradise, because it is just that! We loved the gorgeous view, beach walks, spacious yet comfy home. You can feel a lot of love has been put into the home as it includes well thought out appointments including a well-equipped kitchen, quality beds and bedding, very nice decor and plenty of seating. The deck is a dream to spend time on and watch the water and wildlife, including deer. Quiet neighborhood. We really loved this place and hope to come back soon! Pros • Location is wonderful. It’s easy on/off the island and everything you need is nearby – food shopping, restaurants, etc.. • Views and beach are awesome. • Open floor plan allows for gathering and bedrooms provide privacy given their locations – nice to have both. • Feels much larger than the noted square footage. • Service/communication from rental management company was excellent. They were highly proactive, something that was noticed and appreciated very much. • We were there in the off-season and it is a very quiet area at that time of year – peaceful and tranquil. • Kitchen is well-stocked with everything you need. • Plenty of parking – easy in and out. • The fact they have YouTube TV signed in makes it easy to watch sports. • We had 8 adults and two kids – the place easily handled us, with room to spare. • Might seem like a minor thing, but the fact they collect trash twice a week is a big plus. A large family on vacation generates a lot of trash! • Place was very clean and organized when we arrived – that isn’t always the case with home rentals. • Lots of notebooks and instructions – if you needed to figure something out, it was at your fingertips. • LOTS of seating – a huge plus. • Private walk to the ocean – really feels like your own beach. Opportunities • Could use more updating. Living space and kitchen have been upgraded, as well as the master bedroom/bath. The other bathrooms/bedrooms are a little tired. • Hot water seems to have a tough time making it to the upstairs showers. • Bit of a bummer to have the icemaker on the fridge be down for the two weeks we were there. The rental company provided ice and a thoughtful gift basket for the inconvenience. • Closet space is limited – probably not an issue for a visit of a week or less, but we were there for two weeks and it was a big inconvenient. • It’d be nice to figure out a way to ensure the pool can be heated no matter the temperature. We have a pool at our home and can get it up to 85 degrees even if the outside temps are in the 40’s. Of course, it requires more energy (cost), but we would have paid more to have a functioning pool. • Electric stove – ugh. • Updated washer/dryer would be great. Overall, the place is terrific! The positives far outweigh the areas of opportunity and I suspect as they continue to invest in the place, it’ll only get better and better!

This place has everything for a wonderful family vacation. It’s our favorite area of HHI with a beautiful view and living space. I honestly can’t imagine needing anything more. Some people complain about the written instructions in the house. They are probably the ones that need them. I’d do the same if I was the owner. Highly recommend!
