This place was perfect. Three king size beds and two bathrooms was nice and comfortable for the whole family. The kitchen had plenty of equipment to work with. Convenient location to get to Sierra.
This house was a nice surprise! The layout was compact and convenient, with the 3 bedrooms all quite comfortable and 2 bathrooms clean with bathtubs. The decor was cute lake cottage themed and the wifi worked fine. We got to Sierra at Tahoe in 20 minutes in the morning. The only negatives were that there were ants in the kitchen (hard to 100% get rid of, I know), and not really a kitchen table, so we were perched on counters and side tables rather than all sitting together.
Good location from Heavenly Valley and downtown South Tahoe for our ski trip. Home was cozy and had nice big kitchen. Two nice bathrooms. Only complaint was TV not easy to figure out and limited channels with US news, movies and no sport channels. Had to stream super bowl.
Property/amenities: I didn't realize, but this place doesn't come with a full dining table. It was enough to make do with the chairs and mini tables in the end. Amazing worth for value when we consider that this is a 3 bedroom with two sofas. Decor is minimal, but exists. They have a lake theme. Would have been nice if there was a notice about whether tap water is safe to drink. there wasn't a Brita filter, so we bought water outside. Lastly, the water pressure in the showers is ridiculously high -- having the water streams beat down with extremely fast speeds really hurts the skin. I had to cross my arms to protect my chest from being hit so harshly. --- Cleanliness: Cleanliness was top-notch, all beds were made, no speck of dust to be found on counters. Towels were all very clean and well laid out, but may have had a bit of a bleach smell. Awesome job overall. --- General notes: We weren't warned ahead of time that the washer would be out of order. Threw a wrench in our plans because we had to rewear clothes for water sports. Bear-proof trash receptacle was extremely disgusting -- existing trash was rotting inside for who knows how long. It was difficult to breathe through when we had to throw our trash out. --- Check out notes: Would have been nice to have an owner's contact on hand. I tried 2 different phone numbers, was put on hold for 10 minutes or so, just as we were about to leave to give a courtesy notice about the tree cutters coming. I didn't know what to say to the construction worker, except to keep making him wait. Thankfully the owner responded before we left. Lastly, it would have been nice to have clearer checkout instructions emailed. There were none sent to us, and the only thing we could reference was the paper on the wall saying to move the trash to the bear-proof receptacle, which we had a hard time finding. We weren't sure what to do with the towels or the bedding.
This home was spotless, comfortable and a perfect place for our group. The pictures don’t do it justice!
So close to town but not in it, 20 mins from Sierra or Heavenly. Lots of space to move around in and comfy recliner couch!
