The primary bedroom has a cozy queen size bed, large closet for storage and TV to enjoy when you are ready to call it a night. It also has its own private bathroom with tub/shower combo. There are 3 secondary bedrooms. Your kids will love the "shark room" with a twin bunk over a full bed and a trundle underneath, plus a fun seating area. The Historic Strand Shopping District boasts numerous fabulous restaurants that offer everything from fine dining and international cuisine to some of the best burgers around. If shopping is your thing, The Strand and Post Office St. have some really quaint shops and art galleries to check out. You won't want to miss Mod Coffeehouse or Hey, Mikey's Ice Cream! The Grand 1894 Opera House offers some of the best entertainment and shows in Texas, featuring headliners from across the country, as well as a magnificent historic setting for live theatre. And, we sure do love our festivals and special events here in Galveston! Mardi Gras, Lone Star Biker Rally, Dickens on the Strand, and the numerous triathlons, marathons and walk-a-thons are popular events throughout the year. Bird watching, kayaking and fishing of all kinds round out the many outdoor activities enjoyed by both locals and visitors alike.
We welcome our guests and work diligently to make your experience memorable. However, we only rent to adults over the age of 25 and families. A photo copy of identification of main renter is required prior to arrival of stay. Home is dog friendly for up to 2 pets with approval, contact our office for more information. $100.00 non-refundable fee for the 1st pet and $50.00 non-refundable fee for the second pet. No cats allowed. Guest must contact our office prior to arrival to make arrangements for payment of pet fee and signature on a pet addendum. All fees and services are subject to 15% state tax.
