Start your day by waking up in one of the best locations in town! Shatzie's Warehouse is located just one block from Main, in the heart of town. This one bedroom warehouse with concrete block walls and exposed concrete floors is the perfect launching point for taking in all that Fredericksburg has to offer. Sleep tight in the plush king bed or watch a movie from the comfy couch. There are 3 off street parking spaces available. Pets are welcome. This B&B was the workshop of Shatzie Crouch. Shatzie is a pioneering woman and wife of the late Hondo Crouch of famed Luckenbach. When she wasn't hanging out with Waylon, Willie and the boys, she used this building as a place to restore vintage and classic cars and furniture. I'm certain it was a shock to the locals to see cute Shatzie roll out from under a 1929 Ford Model A with a wrench in her hand and a grease smudge on her cheek. The B&B has been decorated to reflect her time tinkering and tuning. Shatzie was the recipient of the Texas Star Award for Conservation work and Pioneer Award by the Gillespie County Historical Society.
