Ready for the best food you'll eat on your Snowshoe trip? Head to the Kickin' Chicken! Located at the the corner of Rt.66 and US-219, this new restaurant isn't on Snowshoe Mountain. They're down the mountain in Slaty Fork, just a couple minutes away from the Casago office. Trust us, it's worth the trip!

How Kickin' Chicken Started

It all began with three friends and a dream. After working in the food and service industry for many years together, they decided to open up their own restaurant. Since opening in January 0f 2022, they've quickly made a splash in town and become a local favorite. It's a must visit when you're in the area!

Ordering at the Kickin' Chicken

It's important to note that this restaurant is carry-out only, there are no tables to eat. You can call ahead to place your order or you can order at the window. Additionally, you can drive up to the window to order and then park in the lot while you wait. There are only a few parking spots available in the lot, but there is plenty nearby on the street if it's full.

What's on the menu?

The menu features tasty American food with flair. The main selections are hand-crafted soups, salads, hoagies, desserts and sides. Additionally, they have daily specials with even more variety! You'll find these choices on the order window. Some example of featured specials include Beer Cheese Soup, homemade Bread Pudding, and Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo.

Kickin' Chicken Buffalo Soup

This soup is creamy and spicy - everything you need to warm you up on a cold winter day! With just the right amount of flavors, this soup will keep you coming back for more. Further, you can upgrade any soup to be served in a bread bowl! The cost is just $1.75 for the bread bowl add-on.

Wiseguy Hoagie

The Wiseguy Hoagie is Kickin' Chicken's take on a cold Italian sub. It comes with three meats - salami, ham, and pepperoni. As for toppings, you'll find provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, and hot peppers. Lastly, it's drizzled with famous homemade Italian dressing.

Kickin Chickien' Hoagie

As the most popular handheld on the menu, it's not hard to see why when you check out the ingredients. It begins with spicy marinated chicken breast cooked to perfection with a slice of pepper jack cheese. Then, it has all the classic add-ins - lettuce, tomato, onion, and avocado. Last but not least, it's topped a generous portion with spicy mayo.

Sides & Desserts

Though they're sides, they're just as important as the main course! Choose from a selection of mashed potato, gravy, mac & cheese, corn, green beans, or fresh rolls. For all sides, you can order by the pint or quart. We highly recommend ordering a side of their delicious mac & cheese!

Tiramisu and Chocolate Caramel Pecan Brownies are on the dessert menu. However, they sometimes have dessert specials! Follow their Facebook page for updates on the daily offerings. You won't want to miss out when they have homemade bread pudding, apple pie or other specials!
