You might be asking yourself, what is an Escape Room? An escape room is an exciting and unique experience for groups! There are different rooms where teams of 3–8 collaborate to find clues to solve puzzles or riddles and escape the room within 60 minutes. These rooms are themed and they do change over time. Currently, there is a Pirate Treasure room, Wonderland room, and Wizard rooms. This new stimulating style of activity is the only one of its kind in Rocky Point. It's also a family business and it takes them months to put together new rooms. If you're looking for a fun, collaborative, and challenging group activity - this is a great option!

Why do an escape room?

These games make great team-building events! In addition, it's exciting to see how people work together under time pressure or stress. Inside the rooms, there are hints and puzzles that will eventually allow you to escape. So, you and your team must come together to find the clues and solve puzzles before your time is up! Further, it's quite fun for families and friend groups. This is definitely a nice retreat from the sun if you've soaked up all the rays your skin can handle and is a nice change of pace from the usual beach, dining, and shopping experiences.

Each room gives you an exciting mission that you are trying to complete! The object of the Pirate room is to find the treasure before Blackbeard returns to his hiding spot. In the Wizard’s room, you are to break into his room and follow the clues to break the curse before it is too late. The objective of the Wonderland room is to help Alice save Wonderland and her friends from the Queen of Hearts.

Cost & Rules

The cost per person depends on the room that you decide to solve. For the current Wizard's and Wonderland rooms, tickets are $20.00 per person. For the newest Pirate room, tickets are $25.00 per person. It's also important to note that you must have a minimum of three people in your group to play in the escape room.

Once you enter the room, the clock begins. You have a total of 60 minutes to complete the game. If you get stuck, there is a mechanism in place that will allow you and your team to receive a hint. Though you can have up to 8 players on your team, is having more players necessarily better? That all depends on how your work together. Sometimes, having too many brains working at once can be more of a distraction than a help. So, be sure to choose your players wisely in order to escape in time!
