Beaches

Playa Delfines

This is a great photo opportunity for your group thanks to both its beautiful white sands and turquoise waters as well as the brightly colored Cancun sign located here. Visitors rave about the cleanliness of this beach along with its accessibility thanks to features such as a large parking lot, location on the bus route, and facilities such as showers and restrooms.

Playa Marlin

This public beach is accessible both for guests at the hotel as well as the general public. It is popular both for its long stretch of white sand and for surfers enjoying the waves. Lifeguards are on duty here.

Playa Chac Mool

This beach is located right behind the famous, lively Senor Frogs Restaurant but is typically very relaxed and quiet. This is a great place to lay out and tan but be aware that there is not shade available nor bathrooms at this beach.

Playa Caracol

This swimmer-friendly beach is a nice break from the harsh surf at other beaches in the area making it popular for families and snorkelers. Access to this beach can be tricky though so make sure to map out the best publicly accessible spot if you aren’t staying at a hotel located here.

Golf

Riviera Cancun Golf Resort

Visitors rave about the friendly, competent, and professional staff at this course along with its challenging holes, well-kept greens, and delicious food and drink menus that are included in your green price. This course is often regarded as the best golfing available in Mexico.

Iberostar Golf Club Cancun

This well-maintained course is situated on a beautiful all-inclusive resort featuring out-of-this-world views and friendly staff members. Visitors keep coming back to this course (and resort) for good reason! Be warned though–the club will not issue a rain check if there is inclement weather so check the forecast before booking your tee time!

Playa Mujeres Golf Club

Come here to see some crocodiles while you golf a round! It’s a beautifully manicured course and features lots of ball sellers throughout the course so you don’t have to dig around in the croc infested bushes and ponds when you overshoot your shot.
